Guest David Horvath Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 I would like to have the original sound from the December update. Is there a way to extract the UPDATA.APP file? If not, i'll put back the December update (decup would be shorter :)) extract the files manually, and put them to the new rom's system. Does anybody know where are these files located? I know the drivers are from the original rom. These has been extracted from this file or from a running system? Cheers, Chronos
Guest McSpoon Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 I would like to have the original sound from the December update. Is there a way to extract the UPDATA.APP file? If you were to extract the updata.app file, you would then have to unyaffs the system.img to get them. But you don't need to do that as I've attached them. :) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DK7JJS4U (1Mb) The T-Mobile UK decup had these extra additions, which I've put in the tmobile_audio.zip:- /system/media/audio/alarms/Alarm-Standard.ogg /system/media/audio/alarms/Bird-Alarm.ogg /system/media/audio/alarms/Plink-Alarm.ogg /system/media/audio/alarms/Smile-Alarm.ogg /system/media/audio/notifications/Notification-Normal.ogg /system/media/audio/notifications/Notification-Standard.ogg /system/media/audio/ringtones/Standard-Ringtone.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/Download-Standard.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/Shutdown_Default.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/Startup_Default.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/Warning_Default.ogg You could use ADB to transfer them to your /system/media/audio/.... folders.
Guest David Horvath Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 I owe you one :) Thanks! :)
