Guest boqonx Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Is flashing this ok from EMEA ROM?
Guest zycamaniac Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Someone wanted the languages posted.. : Thanks man It means: Chinese (Simplified) Chinese (Traditional) It looks like to me it is a general ROM for Taiwan/HK/China region. For some reason my Liquid refuses to get into recovery mode, the tool from Android Market, adb reboot recovery, hardware buttons... all of them seem to "reboot" itself into normal boot as soon as it tried to boot into recovery, and all I got was seeing Acer logo twice. Anyone got ideas on that? Thanks. David
Guest yann91 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Is it possible to add an other language who is in the sdk ?
Guest drigerott Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 (edited) try this hardware combination for recovery mod: PLUGGED to USB: Volume up + camera + power UNplugged: volume down + camera + power Edited January 17, 2010 by drigerott
Guest Piter1225 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 (edited) Is it possible to add an other language who is in the sdk ? That would be grat, if any dev could help us to add languages, which are supported by Android, but not included with ROMs. I've tried to make it on my own, but without results :) I wish someone could give us a little tutorial how to make this. Cheers Edit: Using MoreLocale only changeslanguage in multi-lang apps. I compared resources.arsc from apk's in ROM, with that one from SDK, and found that there are missing some lines in different langs, maybe that will help someone. Edited January 17, 2010 by Piter1225

Did you even bother reading the link cause it cleary states how to go into bootloader mode To enter bootloader: 1. Make sure you have androidSDK set up, with adb and that it detects your phone. Remember to enable usd-debuggning on the phone. 2. Open a command prompt box and enter: Code: adb reboot bootloader

Guest drigerott Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Now i have 2.01.00 radio with 1.008 rom (thanks nandroid :) ) ihhihihi
Guest trispect Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 So can I flash somehow from 1.008-rom without wiping my phone and losing all the installed software?
Guest chunga Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Keyboard letter 'p' is very difficult to touch :s
Guest Joshuah Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 and yes.. actually p is a little bit harder to use.
Guest scrap2434 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Keyboard letter 'p' is very difficult to touch :s Can someone confirm if the screen sensitivity on the edges is bad again on this ROM. If so, I think I shall stick with 1.008
Guest F_J_P Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Can someone confirm if the screen sensitivity on the edges is bad again on this ROM. If so, I think I shall stick with 1.008 It is not harder to use. I think it is just the p letter :) The q letter works fine and it is in the opposite side of the screen.
Guest Mi|enko Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Can somebody do me a favor an pull the nemoplayer apk from their flashed device? I have a nexus, so don't really have a way to extract the image; regular extraction tools (isobuster, etc.) aren't working
Guest Ogglord Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Can someone confirm if the screen sensitivity on the edges is bad again on this ROM. If so, I think I shall stick with 1.008 If you think 1.008 was better than its predecessors then 2.000.3 won't be worse. I think it's just a matter of getting used to the new positioning of 'p' because the screen sensitivity is OKEY.
