Guest wc326 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 so i thought this phone have a 256 ram, and 512 rom?? and how come my phone storage only have like 170-150 mb free for a new phone. i thought there would be 512 mb of space for apps?? so how about you guys
Guest chingy1788 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Hmm There would not be 512MB space for apps the Android System takes up part of that space not too sure on how its split though...

Guest wc326 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 then 170 will not be enough for appz i used to have g1 htc. and app to sd is a must looks like the liquid will be aswell what makes the g1 so special were all those 3rd party roms!!!!!!!! liquid is better in everysingle way just without a keyboard. so lets have so more 3rd party rom^^
Guest chingy1788 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Only when Acer releases the kernel I think thats due in 1-2 weeks (i just read it somewhere on these forums) When that is released, the devs should be able to enable overclocking to 1GHz, and perhaps underclocking below 128MHz for more power savings Wifi tether can be done there will be various tweaks to the system they can get Apps to SD in they can probably modify the partitioning of the onboard memory so you dont need apps to sd new icons and skins for the liquid Maybe Android 2.x running on the liquid before Acer releases the official android 2.x Basically the kernel source gold is the holy grail for rom development
Guest chunga Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 the res about 75mb in /dev that is not used
