Guest blackcoffee85 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Is the MCR source available to download anywhere? I wonder if the HTC devs would incorporate some of Paul's optimisations into their official ROMs.

I wonder if the HTC devs would incorporate some of Paul's optimisations into their official ROMs. Last I checked I couldn't find it. Also, I asked Paul directly and never got an answer to his PM.
Guest Paul Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 MCR ROMs are heavily tweaked and optimised versions of the shipped or released ROMs. Aside from the kernel, th eonly source would be for my build tools... That said, I have working build environments so i'm considering pulling in some custom compiled parts soon... P

Guest Paul Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Not at this time, they're too messy! :) I plan to streamline my new build / optimisation process (which is also now splitting for the online kitchen) then make them available in the future. P

P Sounds great, and follows the philosophy of Android & GPL :) Cheers Paul!
