Guest Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 (edited) HTC Sync is the software used to connect/sync Android devices to Windows. Definitely not Android 2.X :) Thanks for the tip though, seems it was released on the 15th. Looks like its main improvement is it finally works (OOB) with Windows 7! Edited January 18, 2010 by Guest

Yup, DavidTJCXP is 100% correct. IMHO though, it's not even worth the download, since it doesn't seem to do anything you can't do using adb and mounting the SD Card on the PC. If anyone does know of any advantages (short of the USB tethering driver so your PC can use it as a modem, I would be interested to hear them. Just a heads-up for anyone on a small download allowance...
Guest paaland Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 This version finally works on Windows 7. The previous didnt (at least not for me).
Guest Nesousx Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Hehe, ok, thanks. I was really confuse about this update. I was thinking it was the offcial way to flash HTC phone. However thinking more about it, there is also a "ROM" category on their website; which made no sense thinking THIS was the new rom. My bad. On the other hand, even if the file is dated if January 15th, I'm pretty sure it was just released a few minutes before my post (if not, blame the RSS feed for not being uptodate). :)
