btw I work at the Samsung Head Office here in Australia and i've asked the Mobile Marketing team about any possible upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 and they seemed to have blacked out the light at the end of the tunnel.

ahcor1991 has pretty much got it right. from the response, it will look like you have to purchase a new device to take advantage of the new OS.

sorry for the bad news guys :). althoguh it wouldn't hurt to try :)

ps. if this petition spreads like wildfire and somehow makes a huge impact and spreads to the news even? maybe? hahah... then maybe it MIGHT happen. highly unlikely though =\

all we want from samsung is only samsung mouse driver. else modaco's rom cooker knows better that wat to server then samsung's ......

samsung will not even see that forum. i can sure.

all they wanted is just launch launch the phones. forget the olderone.....

may be they even forgot the samsung omnia's model number,os,memory,cpu

face the reality guys....i900 is not listed in upgrade WM6.5 rom in samsung flagship....better we start learning how to build our own rom and add everything we want....if you want wm6.5 running in your omnia then start downloading rom from this forum, just choose and flash into your omnia.
