Guest david_dawkins Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 So you paid the £10 or the £30 membership? He says "Ad[d]-free", so that's £10.00
Guest phucte Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Paul could you also add 2.0 /2.1 app icons into the Online kitchen :)
Guest jmmL Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Will e2fsck be included at some stage in 1.8? That would definitely be appreciated.
Guest trifid Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 Thanks for the great job.. there is just one thing missing to have a perfect ROM: tethering! No progress in compiling the netfilter into the kernel? Andrew
Guest stupidm4n Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 (edited) Baked a ROM with just the items below ticked Core (U8230 Vanilla Style) Google Maps QuickBoot Notepad Once installed and booted up i reboot again to remove the French language on widget menu then when rebooted i cant get into contacts, it says stopped unexpectedly Works fine using Core (T-Mobile Style) Edited January 21, 2010 by stupidm4n
Guest Jasio_m Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 That looks great, Paul. I'll get a membership to try this. I notice that RoadSync has moved from /system to /data. Does it mean there is more free space on the /system partition? I tried to install the rsync executable on 1.7 but there wasn't enough space. And what is the crash-prone Servo Search for?
Guest Paul Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 In MCR, /data/xbin is in the path, so you could also put rsync there... P
Guest JingleManSweep Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 In MCR, /data/xbin is in the path, so you could also put rsync there... P Sounds good, does anyone have a compatible compiled binary for Rsync that I could have?
Guest z0s0 Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 Will definitely signup for the adfee / ROM once it tethers ;-) Keep having to swap my sim into my other phone for tethering, driving me nuts ;-)
Guest Jasio_m Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 (edited) Sounds good, does anyone have a compatible compiled binary for Rsync that I could have? I think the rsync binary I used came from here: http://adqmisc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/an...inux-gnueabi.gz It works well. Now I just need to find the best way to sync both ways. Unison would be much better for two-way sync if I could use sshfs to mount the Pulse's filesystem. But I haven't found an sftp-server binary. Dropbear works with the sftp-server from openssh.
