USB didn't recognized in Mac

Its got nothing to do with your computer. I have a Macbook Pro and it works just fine :) Make sure USB Debugging is turned on (Settings>>Applications>>Development )

Also, you can only use fastboot when booted into fastboot (adb reboot bootloader or turn on while holding the trackball down)

seems that there's something wrong with the usb cable. when I use my samsung galaxy's usb cable, adb works fine. that's weird.
