Give that number a ring and tell the advisor that you've spoken to an agent earlier in the day who confirmed that they are available to order over the phone.

Apparently there are loads available on their systems and they are unsure why they are off the website

It's £139.99 and no top-up is required

Correct, it's £139.99 and I've also confirmed with them that you don't have for a topup

Grr, just spoke the (helpful) sales line - initially they had the 'discontinued' line but after I asked if I can still buy it they did look and confirm some 80+ handsets still on PAYG. However they priced at £179. I'd spoken to the local store earlier who confirmed a £139 price but a £20 top up. So the sales line said they would match that but I would need to buy the credit too (of which I have no use, I'm just going to unlock it and pop my Virgin SIM in). How do you get them to forgo the credit payment?

Yours,

p.s. of the choice between one of these at £160 and a flashed with Sense/2.0 decent conditon G1 for about £100, what would you do?

That sucks :/, Personally Id go with the Pulse, bigger screen, newer device, I had a G1 but I didnt really like it, If u want a keyboard then the choice is obvious, and £100 is a great deal tbh?

It really depends on the agent you speak to. When I asked about buying the credit they just said it's up to me whether I want it or not
