Multiple issues with an i910

Hi everyone! I just bought my friends old i910 and I read that it was supposed to have 8gb of onboard memory but it doesn't show anything in the memory section. The phone also refuses to save pictures from the internet due to lack of memory. My camera will also, randomly, not work because it says it needs at least 5mb of memory to open. Now I had read of people connecting their Omnia's to their pc's and trying to remount the memory...well I bought a data cable and Active will not recognise it at all. All in all I find this quite frustrating. Verizon wouldn't know tech support if it bit them in the ass anmd gave them ebola and Samsung refuses to help me because I purchased it second hand (keep in mind it is still under it's one year.)

I would appreciate any assistance with this matter.

You mean the reset option in the phone? Yes I did.

Ok I got my 8gb of memory back but my computer cant seem to detect it at all. Would someone mind going through the step by step method to using active sync or even having it recognize the internal memory? I just connected the phone to the comp but nothing.

easiest way for your computer to see your phone is to enable mass storage on your phone.

settings-connections-usb connection mode-mass storage

then for your phone to see it once again, change it back to active sync.

hope this helped :)
