i updated to secany's latest 6.5. First of all i liked the responsiveness..but very anoying i didnt automaticly do the network setting. Under operators i can find only O2 from the check republic..anyways i manually fixed it all bij configuring inet, mms ect settings.

The only thing that keeps giving problems, and im not sure its related to what i mentioned above, is my smartdailing application from voipbuster. Ive used this on every wm version 6.1, 6.5 and on different phones. But since the last update it cant connect and gives the following message:

error on socket (800700b7)

(my error message is in dutch)

does anyone know how to fix this specific problem or is there a sollution for the above mentioned operatorsproblem?

tnx in advance

1) do you have internet on the phone? Can you surf on the web ?

flash with onother CSC, an unbranded one to lose all the O2 branded stuff.

+ more languages in the other csc

yeah i have unlimited internet..working. i dont understand this socket issue. BTW the language is good (dutch) and this csc had more languages..the problem is the o2 branding i think. I tried to delete the O2 certificates but it was not possible.

which csc would u advise?

I looked at google, I don't see a 800700b7 error that has to do with sockets...

try reflash with correct CSC and see if you still got the error ?

So ive read your keyboard problem. i must admit i never gave much attention to the keyboard. Everything seems normal. whats the difference?

about the error from the voip software. its mentions "fout bij het opzetten van socket" and now there is a different error code: 80070006.

maybe the problem is the software doenst recognize that its an dutch phone, and since the software only works for the netherland and belgium, i think, it doesnt work. my operator section only shows a some tjech republic O2

i guess ill try flash tomorrow on work again (xp machine), or can it be done easily under W7?

maybe idd the problem is the branded O2.

no keyboard problem, just I didn't know how to get azerty. ( I don't know if you have azerty / qwerty. -> So I mentioned it )

It should work on win7 32bit. I never tried it. -> http://www.modaco.com/content/b7610-omnia-...ndows-7-32-bit/

as far as I know, flashing on win7 x64 doens't work.( no singed samsung modem drivers )

well i have 32 so ill will check it. about the keyboard..what is the difference?

Btw i looked at the certificates and there where 2 from O2. I couldnt delete them, so i tried to find them with resco explorer..no luck. i thought maybe those certificates have something to do with it? or im a talking nonsense :-)

certificates are only to encrypt stuff or validate stuff. ( like dll's , enterprise wifi networks , ... )

So I think it has nothing to do with it.
