I tried to flash my omnia yesterday on a clean xp installation (without antivirus firewall etc) and I got this screen... The phone was trying to reboot but black screen and no light. I removed the batt tried to boot but nothing. At the end I saw I haven't installed modem drivers. So what to do now? Help!!!

Pull out the battery of your omnia then put it in again... Then charge it(don't turn it on) until the light at the power button turns green... then tell us if you can see the samsung logo or not...

I flashed mine and it went wrong... ie no boot at all... No power light nothing!!! when i connected it to my laptop xp was looking for a monohan driver for it.

As soon as xp asks for monohan drivers, the boot section of the omnia is not there or corrupt!!!

I was given a web address from a chef on this site which was the answer to my predicament. I sent it away to them came back 4 days later with it all fixed!!!

They re flashed it (including boot part) with latest uk 6.1 rom from samsung.. I was so happy.... i thought my omnia was dead for good....

You can buy the gear to mend it yourself but will set you back prob in the reagon of £300.

Send it to this company and it costs you postage there and £20 to them..... They send it back out of the £20 you give them. Paypal too..

here's the address... http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/unl...boot_repair.htm

One more thing.... if they cant repair it there's no charge...
