Help Needed - Phone Memomry

Ok guys please help me,

Suppose i am installing a 9 mb game on my cell ... while installing it gives me an error saying game not installed .. regardless the game not being installed why does my phone memery decrease ? is there a way to clear this pls help .. cause a lot of memory of mine is wasted due to this issue.

would be easier if you told us the name of the game, so we can try to reproduce the error.

It happs with a lotta apps .. but top of my head i just tried installing armegeddon ...
