Email Issues

Hi There

Currently running my Hero with modaco 3.2, but have had this problem for a while, I have 2 email accounts on my phone one hotmail and the other a virginmedia blueyonder account, i have some days where no mails come through at all then all at once i get about 50 emails.. emails are set to download every 5 mins on phone, was wondering whether it was a reception problem or something to do with the rom or possibly the phone?

Anyone else had any similar issues?
