Cannot change build.prob

I want to modify my build.prob.

I get it from my phone

adb remount

adb pull /system/build.prob

I edit it with Notepad, and then i want to push it back to the phone

adb push build.prob /system/build.prob

But I only recieve

cannot stat 'build.prob' : No such file or directory

Can you help me, pushing the build.prob ob my phone?

typo: it's "build.prop

you are soo trying to install Swype, aren't you now :) if it worked or not tell us.

actually I just edit my build.prop to download Apps that not available for Android 1.5, only for higher versions

But Swype looks nice, maybe I test it

yeah i read it somewhere there is swype for 1.5 released but buggy * on xda forums i read that* and there is a mod that you got to edit build.prop file in order to run it and add some lib to sys :\ i just saw it somewhere online :)

im on my phone atm and I saw that while I was on my laptop I will look it up for you in couple of hours, it's 3 am here.but I simply used swype htc hero 1.5 as key words

ok i get one, but i have FCs and German is not included

and no editing in build.prop or something is needed, its only a modded apk
