Titanium Backup - Parsing error

I've got a real problem.

I did a Backup with Titanium.

Then I did a wipe and flashed another Rom.

(Kagudroid)

Then I want to restore this backup.

But at every app, there is an error message like "Parsing error"

No App was restored.

Could anybody please help me?

After downloading from titanium with the new rom, there are no apps listed in my market account!

I have the same problem with Titanium Backup.

I hope you did a Nandroid Backup before the wipe/flash process.

I also purchased MyBackup Pro when it was first released.

It seems more reliable to me, although it doesn't save your application settings like Titanium is supposed to...when it works.

tb has a problem, when restoring from a pre 2.x rom.

so when you flash back to your previous rom, tb should work just as expected.

Same problem for me today going from MCCR to AOSP2.1....

Initially I had a message saying the AOSP kernel didn't support the compression type, so I nandroid'ed back to MCCR, redid the backup using a supported compression method, nandroid back to AOSP, tried to restore and still the parse error.

Probably a kernel issue?

Still, quite annoying. Doesn't help that Titanium isn't exactly user-friendly either.

I even tried backing up from MCR using GZIP instead of LZO though as Titanium warned me that LZO was not available... same result.

I've ended up using Astro to backup all my apps, however this doesn't do the market links so updates won't flag up in market.

Tagging on the end of your post, I've just made a Titanium backup, wiped then restored various apps, but my SMS hasn't come back, any ideas (is there a website for titanium backup?)
