Went to recharge my Pulse today and found the Rabbit has chewed through the cable in three places, two not so bad and one straight through so the only thing holding it together is a small bit of the black plastic B)

Obviously now I cant recharge the thing and its down to 23% battery :)

Anyone know of a spares site at all as its a non standard power connection as far as I can make out!

Eeek!

Don't worry!

You might be happy to know that the cable is the standard for phone chargers now.

So that should be fine :)

(rule of thumb, if it says it's micro usb, and looks like the old cable, you're good to go)

Just make sure you don't buy a Blackberry Storm cable, they seem to be slightly different wiring or something... B)

I've bought a bunch of USB -> microUSB cables through ebay, 50p each. They work fine.

Thanks peeps, just found Nokia USB mini to USB cable on Amazone for £1.70. Have ordered that and will advise if it works ok.

I assume you meant micro-USB.

I bought a couple USB->microUSB cables from Amazon for £1.70 each (listed as Nokia CA-101 cables) and these work fine. As someone else commented microUSB is the new agreed standard for mobile phone charging - partly driven by EU to reduce wastage and got support from mobile phone companies once they realized that once it is established then they no longer need to provide charges with phones ... gives them more margin (as the phone undoubtably be still the same cost!) and also reduces cost and volume of packaging.
