Hi all, I have recently bought a Hero off of eBay and it is locked to Orange. Went to a Unlocking site for an Unlock code but warned about the bug in the Orange ROM. I have tried to make sense of the instructions for loading the MoDaCo ROM but confess that I am not confident and do not understand much of the terminology.

Is there anyone out there please who would be prepared to PM me step by step instructions so I may buy my unlock code and start to enjoy the fantastic features of the Hero?

I tried the (so called) HTC agent in Nicosia but after a week they said it was locked to Orange and they could not unlock the phone......any help would be very much appreciated.

if u dont want to flash a new ROM u can unlock using a rebelsim. I used this to unlock my orange hero.
