Guest RazorICE Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) Okay so basically I had lickon's recovery image, did a wipe of the SD and formatted it, then did app2sd. When I next booted my liquid it goes past the ACER logo, then past the ANDROID logo, then the screen stays black. Pressing one of the four touch buttons lights them up but that's it. So, what I've figured out is I can still get to fastboot, and I have a nandroid backup. I've tried flashing my nandroid backup's system and boot, but still getting the same. Any ideas? I really appreciate the help! Fixed! (after tinkering around a bit): So it turns out that I was pressing the wrong combination for recovery mode, which is Camera + Vol UP + Power. Anyway, after getting into recovery and doing a nandroid restore of my backup, it's all working now :) Sorry for the inconvenience! Edited January 25, 2010 by RazorICE
Guest RazorICE Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) Oh, recovery mode is also working (I was pressing the wrong button combination), so I'm sure I should be able to fix it! No idea how to though, still booting into black... Okay, I've fixed it! :) However, I would still like to ask if it's possible to unformat the SD card. I can't do it in windows disk manager, cause it doesn't allow partitioning of SD cards... Fixed! After messing around with parted for ages I found out the simplest solution was the one that worked. A simple "format SD card" from the settings menu destroyed the 500MB app2sd partition. B) Edited January 25, 2010 by RazorICE
