26/Jan 1.2 - MoDaCo Custom Kernel for CDMA Hero

Recommended Posts

I need some CDMA users to do a quick test for me! :)

I've knocked up a custom kernel for CDMA devices with all the usual stuff in the GSM Hero kernel, EXT3/4 support, compcache support, NFS etc. etc., but it needs testing (I don't have a CDMA device).

If you want to try it out, nandroid backup, download and flash the update zip, and let me know how you get on! B)

DOWNLOAD (Mediafire Pro)

Note: this is intended for use on a MoDaCo Custom ROM!

Thanks!

I flashed over your 2.0 and so far, it seems to be working pretty good. No Sprint TV… I restored to the Nandroid backup… Still no Sprint TV. Might be unrelated.

I've been running your 2.0 Custom ROM for my CDMA hero for a few days now. It's amazing, huge speed improvement. Would I gain anything from this custom kernel build you're working on?

1.2 is working like a charm! Previously had problem of HTC Widgets not loading. All is well now! I really hope this helps get a working 2.1 ROM for the CDMA phones. :)

After 12 hrs. Working beautifully for me. I haven't enabled compcache though. Anyone try it?

all I gotta say is.. it Flies. its Fast, makes 1.5 actually usable..

I hope its not the placebo effect.. but its very responsive.. sliding up and down the apps menu is smooth.. and it just works.. so far.. Ill keep you updated..
