Sprint Navigator

Ok, so when I customized the MoDaCo rom in the online kitchen I forgot to include Sprint Navigation. Is there any way for me to install it onto my Hero after the ROM has been installed? If not, does anyone know of another app that does the same things, or is even better than the Sprint Navigation app?

Edit: Also, now that I have the custom ROM installed, how do I set it so that apps that I download off of the market are saved to the SD card, or do I have to manually transfer them over?
