The application Email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly.

I have a problem with my email app (not the gmail) - every time it tries to download some messages from my IMAP over SSL mail it crashes.

Seems it is a known bug in 2.x android - there appears to be a bug with unparseable email headers that results in a force close.

Anyone having same issue here? Anyone found a solution/workarround?

Found this thread - http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=4700 - it is for the droid but the bug is the same...

workarround - use k-9 mail app, it still generates errors, but at least works (btw it is a much better mail app then the stock one)
