Guest Parano!d Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 sounds cool, but from the preview it looks very much android ,look at the top bar, its eclairs
Guest finisterre Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 (edited) I've just switched to a Nexus One from my aged HTC Hermes, but put WM7 and a keyboard on this and I'd be tempted back. Edited January 26, 2010 by finisterre
Guest Kristaps-K9-Lv Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 from the picture it looksa bit like HTC touch HD (only with d-pad and hardware buttons- even the front speaker and front camera are in the same place as HD's) :)
Guest AlecR Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I would also add that it sports the "old" HTC logo, which was dropped some phones ago. Also the browser looks like Chrome?!
Guest MrAlex Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 sounds cool, but from the preview it looks very much android ,look at the top bar, its eclairs And it's using Chrome B) Now show me the Touch Pro 3 :)
Guest ScreamingFalcon Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 sounds cool, but from the preview it looks very much android ,look at the top bar, its eclairs The screen image looks like it is "simulated." The Diamond series is WinMo.
Guest Sonicr360 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Pic looks a little odd to me. I would expect this device to be out late this year (November / December) to tie in with WM7. Personally, I think Android would be a far better OS to use.
Guest Shuflie Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Those rumored specs look a bit dodgy to me, a 3.7" screen won't fit into that form factor, unless they've done something really fancy with the amount of material they need at the edges of the screen, its nearly 4mm narrower than the Nexus One
Guest vinaymanro Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 sounds cool, but from the preview it looks very much android ,look at the top bar, its eclairs This hardware is set for both Android and Windows Mobile if rumours are to be believed!!
Guest Shuflie Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 This hardware is set for both Android and Windows Mobile if rumours are to be believed!! If that is true is this a test for HTC's future product plans?
Guest Sonicr360 Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 Dont think its a test. Maybe a preferenace of what customers want perhaps? Either way, I cannot see this out until later part of the year. This assumes WM7 is due out later as well.
Guest timeline Posted January 29, 2010 Report Posted January 29, 2010 OK so the HD2 won't get a WM7 upgrade then I guess.
Guest lutharigno Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Nice looking phone. I want a new phone so bad! hopefully this will hit the states AND have att 3g.
Guest Yamthief Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 I call the leaked photo a fake. HTC wouldn't use old brandin, and chrome in an Android screen?
