I have this version NB0 too... But i ripped it from my phone using some tutorial here. Is it possible that i spread some personal stuff when i upload it?

That's well put and thanks for helping.

I believe that you're getting the dump off "My Storage" so it will be the MLI file from the hidden partition and i'm pretty sure it will come out clean.

Any EXPERT that can corroborate this?

I am not expert, but I think that this is not possible. During restoring of ROM yet clean ROM installs.

What do you mean stardog? Ripping an MLI file from the device and converting it to NB0 is possible. But it my personal data also included in this NB0?

jeewee85, i see you didn't use the winhex method right? As i understand, the difference between MLI and NB0 is that NB0 only has the language that was set on your device and MLI has all the languages, But basically the extract process is the same, which is from the hidden partition of the phone's storage that is reserved and has no user data.

Anyway, would you care to dump the MLI file as described in the following link? That method is i'm sure completly transparent and that way you can see exactly what it's extracting which will be the reserved/hidden Samsung ROM.

If you "dump" your rom copying the mli file from the hidden partition your personal data aren't copied so you can do that without privacy problems. If I am right II1 is the last wm 6.1 rom from Samsung but I am not sure if anyone has a more recent wm 6.1 rom can report here the news... :)

hi guys i dont want to let you down with the PDA file. i will uploaded it during the weekend.

I have flashed my device before to wm6.5 and then went back to my backup of this rom B7610XXII1 made fallowing Kibiwi's tutorial (really easy and straight forward).

I can confirm that no personal info is going to be inside the PDA part from my experience.

Ok so here is the deal. After around 10 hours i was able to upload it :)

However I had to split the file in 30MB parts resulting in 8 files compressed with winrar and then 7zip

Instructions: *

1. download all 8 files to the same location (folder)

2. Right click file 1 of 8 and select unzip using 7zip

3. After this you will have a new file in .rar format (unzip this file to reveal the .nbo PDA)

4. Follow the tutorial in the collection treath for flashing with octans (onctans mini recommended)

*most people already know this but just in case
