Does anyone know how to override the SPB Mobile lock screen?

I have been searching for an answer for several weeks now. If you find out anything, I'd appreciate you leaving a message under this thread. In your case the "SPB lockscreen" is something that I am not familiar with. But I am familiar with the WM6.5/Samsung lockscreen. I would like to turn the darn thing off for good! As for help. All I see are those who are wanting to change their lockscreen...but no one wants to turn it off completely. Why? I use an XLINK Bluetooth Gateway and all of my home phones are connected to it. Well, the Gateway works just fine...but the i920 locks the screen after dialing, and I can no longer dial DTMF tones across the bluetooth link because the screen has locked itself. When I call into work I have to dial a DTMF tone (#) option to satisfy the virtual operator and connect me to the extension I want. So I have to go downstairs to where my i920 is parked (next to the Gateway) just to unlock the screen so that I can dial access tones. I can't believe that they (Samsung) won't let us disable the lockscreen as an option.

Go to settings - buttons and disable "lock device after waking up" or something like that. After that, go to buttons - end key and set it to "disconnect".

You'll never see your lockscreen again :)

Are you sure this is for an i920 Omnia 2?

I get: Settings>General>Buttons>Wake Up>(I now have 3 choices: Lock Only, Lock or Power, Any Key)

My choices under: Settings>General>Buttons>(are Assign a Program, Wake Up, "X" Button)

Is there someplace else I should be looking?

Yeah, try the right forum, not the Omnia 1 forum...

Pardon me. I thought that "x" was a variable and could also mean "2"

I do believe I mentioned in my post that I had a i920 before you even posted.

Thats right, but I didn't knew an i920 was an Omnia 2 :) Because Omnia 1 can both be 900 an 910.

Why don't you try SmartLock (search around for smartlock.cab)? Uncheck all the checkboxes and you'll never get your phone locked, unless you press the "Lock" button yourself.

Not sure about Omnia II, but for Omnia the working version is 1.7e. Let me know if you need the cab.

You need a patched dialer from XDA Developers.

This is for the 910 Verizon

Thanks. Were you aware that there is a newer version than 1.7e? Below is a link to version 2.0F:

Yes, I'm aware of this but the 2.0 didn't want to work with some of the ROMs I tried, while 1.7 has never failed me so far. ;)
