Solar recharge?

I am about to get an HD2 and take it on a LONG journey, is there anyway to charge it without easy acces to mains or car chargers, i was thinking of something like this:

but for an HD2, has anyone ever done this?

It depends on how sunny the place your going is, i've got a wind up charger which I think is the most fool proof way of charger your phone for an emergency one I got is the Freecharge 12v which u need to plug the car charger adapter for the HD2 and you just wind away
