Guest trstn Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 Probably been covered before but I missed it and it's starting to wind me up. Is there any way to receive MMS's on UK o2 without them being the size of a postage stamp?

Is there any way to receive MMS's on UK o2 without them being the size of a postage stamp? I'm not sure, but according to my tests the phone itself resizes the image. I've sent a 640x480 image (from a Nokia 6100) to Hero, and the result was less smaller - but I don't remember to that size.

Guest hp1 Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Handcent SMS has a facility to spoof the phone as another device but only works on Android 1.6 and higher. Its because O2 dont support the Hero and therfore set the MMS size to default.
Guest Kaka Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 (edited) Can someone test something for me? Sold my hero and awaiting my Desire arriving. Send any random MMS to 0101. Wait for the confirmation. Send another MMS to yourself. Does it arrive tiny still? Or proper sized? Might only work with iphone apn settings tho. Which i use. Edited April 12, 2010 by Kaka
