Internet Explorer 6.1 version

I’m having a problem with Internet Explorer. I use it for work email and prefer to use the d-pad. Because of this I go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Internet Explorer And Change the MSHTML data to 0 to make it look like the 6.1 IE (sorry, I don’t know the IE build numbers).

It works in Evidence/Mastergreeny’s V13 23091 build but in the new builds (I've tried a couple of ROMS) since when I make the reg change IE can’t load anything. V13 is awesome but like the rest of you I prefer to be on the newest build. Does anyone have any solutions for this?
