TG01 unable to view Youtube Videos using Coreplayer

Hi Guys,

I've recently got a TG01 and quite liking it, i've got a couple of issues and would just like some pointers.

I'm unable to view youtube videos in Coreplayer - i can see search results but when i click to view a video it wont play - i got a circle loading for a second or so then nothing happens - any ideas?

I've also got another frustrating issue - the phone will not stay connected to the computer in Vista Mobile Device Centre - it connects for about 30 seconds and then disconnects itself, ive been into USB connection settings on the phone and turned off the advanced connection toggle tna - this is really annoying! It works ok in Mass storage mode - but takes around a 30 seconds before it can be opened on the computer.

cant get my coreplayer to work in youtube either same thing, fiddle with preferences video driver nothing. cannot get it to work in wifi or 3g

any ideas!!

ive hard reset it a few times on full charge tried again still nothing

plus google you tube app i have doesnt support screen resolution

and yes i have .net 3.5 in!!

I'm told the version of Core Player that comes with the TG01 is now out of date and does not handle YouTube videos after their latest bit of jiggery-pokery with their file formats. Update it and all should be fine.

I use the Google Youtube application (go here in your phone's browser to get it), for viewing videos. It works full screen and I've never had a problem with it.

Sorry old bean, no idea. I don't use it that much (only for myPlayer video streaming when I really have nothing better to do) so I have not checked this out. Drop Mr Core Player an email about it and let us know what he says.

tried version on opn market place then tried update, but youtube app freezes when moving volume

haven't used it, but i think this is what you want...? (i THINK this is the google youtube app)

If you visit that address in crappy old IE on your TG01 it'll let you download.

Cheers for the pointers guys - i'll give that cab a try and see how i manage with that. Just to let you guys know also i've raised a support ticket at the Coreplayer website - i've yet to hear anything back as of yet but will keep you guys informed of any replies.

they are not much help over there.

see my post there about the same problem.

then again another post here about the Updating... from V1.3.1 to 1.3.6.

Just summarise the result..

Coreplayer need to be updated to latest version V1.3.6 while TG01 has V1.3.1 and only your network (ORANGE if in UK) can pass on the update to you.

You won't get any free update from coreplayer...

HTH
