sd card not mounting on htc after formatting

Hi folks,

I got a problem with an htc hero flashed with the latest modaco rom 3.1 ( baked in the kitchen, but essentially it 's a core rom + wavesecure + business card reader ).

I got 2 sd cards, one of them looks like not readable by my hero.

The other one is readable, but everytime I format it via hero utilities it does not remount automatically, I have to reboot the phone and eventually I ll mount ( at boot time I believe ) and it works fine.

In the stock rom ( T-mobile UK ) it used to work fine ( you format the card and afterwards it remounts it automatically ).

Yeah I'm getting the same/similar on 3.1 now, using a card which used to work fine in the past.

After formatting (well trying to format) I have to remove the card and format in a pc then stick it back in and reboot to get it recognised at all again.

Format itself just seems to confuse the card and make it un-detectable by my phone!
