Bluetooth visability (stock firmware)

Hi not sure if this is a nexus one issue or an android issue;

Is there a way off turning bluetooth visibility on for an indefinite period of time rather than just for 120seconds.

Might be worth a request to Paul for MCR ROM or Cyanogen for his, I would put this as an Android security feature rather than a limitation, after all for the un knowing it is better for it to be time limited. but i suppose if you know what your doing (and know the risks) there's no reason why it shouldn't always be discoverable.
