Guest Charlton22 Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 After rooting the acer liquid, is there any way to rollback to factory reset? (remove the root completely) This is for warranty purpose... As I was told that if the service center identifies that the phone is root, the warranty will be void :s Thanks

(remove the root completely) This is for warranty purpose... As I was told that if the service center identifies that the phone is root, the warranty will be void :s Thanks haven't read anything on rooting the Acer, but if you could get a hold of the original stock ROM on their websites or something you could easily flash back to that ROM. The only thing is your modded boot loader, I dont think that is quite so easy to get rolled back :\ A factory reset wont even work for that purpose... But hey, badword warranty voids. All your hardware is still under the warranty, and you have more control and security with a rooted phone that is available taking bulletproof backups, even if you "brick" your ROM with lots of testing and fooling around :)
