this is not 100% complete. this is just one of the images for the bootscreen. you can still use it though.

i wanted it to look like the htc logo

i want to make a custom hero bootscreen too ... [it will take a couple of days because i have an exam coming up]

after this my bootscreen will be 100% completed. [hooray for doctor zoidberg!]

i made 3 versions: high pass, full pass, low pass. you will know what i mean when you look at the gifs.

strange thing ... i didn't test it yet. [i don't see why it should't work]

filesize is smaller than the original htc logo gif.

i can crop it like the original if anyone wants it.

possible answers to possible questions:

1. i don't have the font. i just edited, twisted, merged, rotated the original htc logo. then i edited some more.

2. i used photoshop cs4 for editing and animation.

3. i plan on releasing the .psd. full source

my questions [i don't want to create new topics ...]:

1. how do i make this into an update.zip ?

2. how can i use a high quality lockscreen wallpaper? i used a png and it looks like crap. also i know some managed to use the transparency in PNG to make it transparent or semi-transparent. i also tried it ... i failed. what is the exact size of the lockscreen wallpaper? i know it's not 480x320.
