Media album wont open image files?

I have problem with opening image files: if I click on them wia Resco file explorer (or any file explorer), a Media album starts but it doesn't open the image. It starts like I have started it via programs link, and it starts by showing default location for images on the phone (\my storage\dcim\100sscam)

The problem started when I was trying a software "Camera album". I've deinstalled it but problem remains...

Please, hard reset it not the option because I've just finished filling up my phone with applications and configurating them

Aw crap. I have the same exact issue. I was trying to keep Kinoma Player from opening my pictures (It is so slow when loading). I used the "file explorer extensions" from xda to "select media album" as the default loader for JPGs but it doesn't work. It will just open the default pictures folder. Just like above.

Anyone found a solution to this? Or, maybe even better, a similar, free, no-nonsense picture viewer that is fast and finger friendly. I hate to use the "Pictures & Video" program built into windows as it lags like 3 seconds to load pictures when you cycle through them.
