Loosing service

Hi,

I've got a strange behaviour of my HTC Hero when using MoDaCo roms.

I've been using different versions from 2.8 till 3.1 and all the time same problem.

I've been using radios from 08.xx till the newest 09.26

So here's the thing.

My phone from time to time looses GSM signal!

It will display No Service information on screen and I can either restart the phone or turn on and off airplane mode.

After that it will log into the network and it's fine.

It happens in places where I've got full coverage and it works all the time... apart from moments when it does not work.

It's really random.

I've tried with other operator and other sim card - same thing.

I could basically see how the bars keep dropping till 0 :)

Do you know what could be the problem?

I am not sure if on stock rom same thing would happen simply because I haven't used it longer than a day, and there are days when this will not happen.

To wrap it up, there's no easy way to reproduce it. I basically hold my phone on the desk and it will loose signal. There's nothing special going on around it.

Same thing happens when I'm at home or when I'm in the city doing some shopping :/
