OTA updates on unlocked N1?

Hi all, does anyone know OAT updatate will work for N1 with unlocked bootloaders?

My understanding is that by unlocking the bootloader, the warranty on the phone is void by default. If the phone is still using stock rom, I dont know if the update will be pushed to the device when Google releases the patches and updates OTA (hopefully very soon).

I know that the updates will probably surface in modaco very quickly, but just thought the OTA update would be a handy feature to keep.

Update: Was told by a friend in Asia that the latest OTA was pushed through to his rooted N1 (unlocked bootloader + stock ROM) but cannot be installed directly, there was notification of updates available but that's as far as the OTA goes. guess that answered my own question here..
