Do tell what you find, but all I have seen of the newly released Swedish ones (unboxing vids on youtube) ... they have 1.5 on them =[

What should I be looking for, and how do I open the files lol

What do you mean? It's a zip. As long as it doesn't stop downloading randomly like mine did and you have a complete file, you should just be able to flash it.

Yes, their website is very unreliable. The downloads often stall. But the files are still there.

If it's a ROM there will be an 'updata.app' file somewhere within the zip. In which case, it might be best to extract the system image and either flash that or create a new ROM from it.

(for anyone wishing to extract the system image, there is a perl script to unpack the updata.app file and then you can use unyaffs to unpack the system.img file.)

The swedish h3h is a rom, just checking the files, unfortunately i'm to new to this to flash it on my phone, I will do it as long I can go back to the MCR!

U8220_HD1U822M29V100R001C125B249SP01_Sweden_H3H.zip is a generic 1.5 build.

ro.build.version.sdk=3

ro.build.version.release=1.5

ro.build.date=Thu Jan 14 00:29:02 CST 2010

Plus side no operator branding, although the pink is still in the dialer.

Also framework-res.apk still has T-Mobile branding.

This is not looking very good on Huawei, they dont seem to be able to make a new rom, instead just keep on patching the original Pulse ROM and fail to do it correctly.

The large size is because the rom was packed twice in the zip

Hehe. :D They don't always list them on the website - but there are other ways to discover what's there (hint: using a trick similiar to 'fuskering'). I'm keeping a close eye on it in case an Android 2.x ROM is uploaded. :D

Rooting a pulse ROM is painfully easy, as far as I can tell. You unpack boot.img, open the ramdisk, edit system.props, done :D

And what should i edit in the system.props?

In that case is there any hidden source where they normally put kernels?
