Possibility of apps to be transferred

Hey everyone was just randomly looking at upcoming phones and found the Lg gw620. Which Tmobile are releaseing and it runs on android 1.5, but it has tons of cool featires such as SNS and other apps see here

And i was just wondering seeing as though this phone runs on 1.5 could some of these functions be transfereed to our tmobile pulse's ?

First of all it's mainly the Manufacturer who writes the android software and T-mobile just adds the branding to it.

I doubt whether the apps could be transferred, as I'm sure they'll have some sort of security on it to stop others using it.

Alot of similar apps to those featured in that video can be found in the Market albeit different names
