Currently running MCR 3.1 on my HTC Hero.

I understand there's a Android 2.1 build knocking about.

Is it any good?

Is it worth trying out?

Apparently it's very good, but i havn't tried it due to Bluetooth audio not working (this is a must for me)... Hurry up HTC!!!!

Apologies for sounding naive. HTC has not yet ported 2.1 to the Hero. So is it possible that ROMs are available even before that?

There was that leaked build last month that people installed on hero. A lot of features are not working in the build however so I didn't bother. I'm on MCR 3.1 at the mo waiting eagerly for htc to release the official 2.1 build so people can get cooking (Paul ;))

I've tried out Villain2.1 with the Espresso-Rosie update and Espresso-Rosie crashed on initial bootup.

Seemed flakey so going to go back to MCR 3.1.

definately agree :D especially if it comes hot off Pauls online kitchen.
