Guest peanut_rvm Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 hi all, i noticed that my pulse doesn't show up in banshee anymore, I don't know where it went wrong but the last time i used banshe was before i rooted the phone. I first thought it was because banshee would look for a music folder on the sd card, but that is definitely not it... Does anyone have/had the same problem? any suggestions? thx

I know there is a fix out there, but I cannot remember specifically what to do. You could try restarting nautilus with: sudo killall nautilus && nautilus I doubt that'll fix the problem, but it is worth a try! John.

As I said, the problem is with the latest version of nautilus, which has a bug that is basically hiding your phone from banshee. I will try and find the temporary work around for you ;)

Then open up terminal and run 'killall -9 nautilus'. Then plug in the iPod and wait about 30 seconds, then run nautilus again by hitting Alt+F2. After I ran this and opened up banshee my iPod worked like a charm.
Guest peanut_rvm Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 Hmm, Tried that but it doesn't work... so maybe it's not nautilus thats causing the problem?
Guest kluzas Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Try adding an empty ".is_audio_player" file in the root of your SD card. Hmm, Tried that but it doesn't work... so maybe it's not nautilus thats causing the problem?
