Guest FortKnox101 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 I Seriously hope this topic hasn't already been discussed for the B7610 before seeing as my browser was having trouble when I was searching for any previous posts. So here goes. Where would one actually start on developing a Custom ROM for the B7610? I tried searching up and all I keep finding is references to ROM Kitchens etc. And as far as I know there is no ROM Kitchen for the B7610. How are the other developers in this forum creating there Customized Roms? Any Help would be appreciated. Again if this has already been asked I do apologize.

I'm not a chef but i would love to have the tools so i can do some homework and try to cook something if you want to try you can use the wes kitchen in the i8000 forum...remember anyway that cooking is not a simple task you have to dedicate much time in it... good luck ;)
Guest ronald-mcdrive Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Is got my information form the following topics: http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...chen-tools-etc/ http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...0-cooking-help/ When i have time i will post my kitchen with a simple guide, you already can start reading because it's a lot of reading before you can cook a ROM. The kitchen i use is based on tools which are posted on Modaco so check it out and maybe create you own kitchen. Maybe you can try this kitchen: http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...ld-application/ i dont use it but maybe it works for you guys.

Guest .:stn:. Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 Windows Vista, don't use spaces inside you path!! nope dude :> nothing works, XPx86, 7 x86, 7 x64.. they still crashed I finnaly managed to get rid some of the problems by setting "problem causing applications" compliance mode to windows 95 or 98. This might be the solution I still have two problem with apps that stop working during the unpacking process and I don't know whether they're vital or not.
