Guest browning guard Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Hi there. Absolute newcomer looking for some help. On my second pulse now as previous one replaced by t mobile and I can't seem to find any thread with the same problem. Haven't made any changes to standard phone apart from downloading some apps. Quite suddenly all my calls are going straight to voicemail and no changes have been made to the settings - they have been checked and are correct. I can make calls and receive texts including those that say I have a missed call but all the caller hears is a beep and straight to my personal message. Any suggestions before I return this phone too? Thanks for your help!

When I press the Power key to Lock and then again to Unlock, the phone does not show the flip screen to unlock, the phone is unlocked automatically and ready for use. 2. When the powe button is long pressed, it brings up menu option to put the fone in silent mode, airplane mode, power off and tasklist. Right now, it just shows Power off and Task List. 3 The most annoying is that the phone restarts randomly. I will be trying to reinstall the Dec update from TMobile again and see how it fares.

I' am the same guy who wrote above. I Did a factory reset on my phone and it works well since then. Another issue that i found was that the phone was sensitive to impact or strong squeeze and if it was dropped on the floor from a height of 20 Cms or so, it would reboot. This has to do with the battery being a little loose. I put some Duct tape around my battery and since then it is much better. To perform a factory reset goto: Settings-->SD Card and Storage--->Factory Reset. CAUTION: you will lose all your data and applications. The Contacts and Calander can be Sync back from Google. But Apps..? COnsider backing up ur data using some software from the Android Market.
Guest browning guard Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 Thanks for the suggestion. In actual fact, in the end I had to return to T Mobile and they installed the update on it. Only had it back in the last couple of days but waiting to see what happens as this is exactly what they did with the first one, which had the same problem less than two weeks after the update was installed. Its so annoying as each time I set it up and get it organised how I want it, it goes down again. Anyway, fingers crossed this time!
