mmm... 2.000.16 didn't flashed (fastboot error on step: flash system)

But i flashed 2.000.3

Only have to use the official Acer tool (like other roms), then update the boot.img (same tool?) and then the acer is rooted yet? or have to use superboot2...

Tried wiping the whole phone in recovery mode?

Then install it, worked for me

1) Unpack the archive

2) Open up a command prompt (cmd on Windows)

3) Navigate to the directory where the extracted files are (with cd)

4) Attach your device

5) adb reboot bootloader

6) fastboot -i 0x0502 flash system system.img

7) fastboot -i 0x0502 flash boot superboot2.img

Now it is stuck in a continous booting sequence. It shows the Acer and android screens and then reboot.

All credits for liquid_it, I have done nothing except a new updated Contacts.apk based on mine.

btw, adb push does not work (using adb remount just before), nor a adb shell mv from sdcard. I have used a adb shell cat instead ?

Did update with acertool, now going to flash the custom rom.

I found another way of doing it, if i dint use the superboot2.img but used the alternate superboot from paul, it started up the fone.

nothing whatsoever, and dont flash your phone with it as you will get verification error

noticed something - maybe normal but just to be sure

even I set my local to french, the system goes to french but the launcher sticks ti english
