Adding more homescreens

I had maxisma's custom rom installed to see what all he did, and I am curious, what do I need to edit to add more home screens??

I have extracted the launcher.apk, but I cannot edit any of the xml files, they are just garbage when I open them.

What I did was extract a launcher.apk from an csl/aap (hk) rom then replace the launcher in a euro rom

Speaking of launchers... can some one extract the latest hk rom? I'm using the one from angios ACR rom... which seems to have a bug with the power and music widgets. Some lines don't line up correctly
