Sound-Problem and latest Rom

Hi,

since I installed and successfully used SRS WOW one day, my Audio-Out just plays silent noise, the internal speaker works correct.

I allready tried to install some new roms, the problem kept.

Any Idea what i can do.

Another question is, what is the version of and where I can get the latest, official AND untouched german phone- and pda-rom, so i can get my phone to samsung and get it repaired?!

Anyone knows if they repair, or send me a new phone? is the Omnia still produced, or may i get an omnia 2? ;)

Did you try hard reset after re-flashing with different roms? do it if you haven't, before you send the device for repair.

Go to http://www.samsung-promotion.de/i900_upgrade.html

and download the latest rom there. If you have unbranded phone - give BHI in the field, which asks for your current ROM version. If you have a branded device you have to give another characters. The web page source gives a hint about the accepted starting characters (e.g. for O2, vodafone, t-mobile, etc.-google for the right one):

Then, instead of playing with country settings and cheating the Samsung version checker, I'd recommend flashing with one of DominikZ roms:

Afterwards you can immediately re-flash with the original ROM that you downloaded from Samsung.
