Market app slow to download

Anyone else having issues with the Marketplace app taking forever to actually get around to downloading apps? I hit the "Download" button and it queues things up but it often takes several minutes before it actually starts downloading things. If I reboot the phone it kicks them off pretty much straight away. Bit of a drag.

Yeah, I often click cancel and then download again. That usually starts the process right away as well. Perhaps the Market server(s) are over worked.

I had this problem before, after a while it automatically got right and also i cleared the data and cache of market in the application tab, so i thought i'll share it.

I have this problem too, I didn't notice it before installing 3.1-update-hero-modacocustomrom-core-signed.zip.

Update: A number of power cycles still no download from Marketplace via T-Mobile - enabled wireless and downloads started intermediately. Are T-M limiting connections to Market or is there an issue in the phone?

I have this problem too, I didn't notice it before installing 3.1-update-hero-modacocustomrom-core-signed.zip.

had this with 3.1 and maybe previous versions, not sure. after wiping and installing 3.2 the download start immediately, really on the spot.
