Guest kasuku Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Today my phone just refused to start (i swith it off at night!). Saw that orange sunset for 20 mins and I gave up. Thing is I haven't done anything dodgy with it including the hacks posted in this site. I did however charge it with my Nokia 6210 charger yesterday with the recommendation of someone in one of the posts here. I'm going to try a hard reset when i get home and see what happens. Has anybody seen these problems before?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Sound like you will have to hard reset ;) Using the charger should be ok as the output voltage is 0.3v higher than the 5v output that the SPV charger has but the charge current is 500ma lower.
Guest kevlar Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 If you are thinking it is power related how about plugging the spv charger in and trying? One thing I have noticed is even though sometimes it takes many attemps to start the spv, it starts first time everytime if I plug the charger in. You could also try booting off the charger with the battery removed. Kevlar
