10MB Ram hack for Pulse ?

Not sure if you guys have seen but there is a mod available for G1 / Magic that re-allocates memory from the GPU to system so gives another 10MB to use which is great for improving performance!

I was wondering if something similar could be done with the pulse, since afaik the hardware is fairly similar.

The hack is applied by boot.img - There is some more detail here; http://www.androidhackz.net/2009/11/add-10-mb-ram-hack/ regarding how it's achieved, but a little over my head.

as explained on here this tweak only applies to htc phones and more specifically, the cynogen rom but im pretty sure paul and this excellent community will find something, you could allocate some swap if your phone is either rooted with the custom recovery image installed or have the custom rom installed but this only works straight after installing a rom (because I have noticed that all apps go except for its config)
