vz navigator 5.0 cab

does anyone have a .cab file of it yet

i did the search here and on google

but only found one and it hangs on install

anyone have a good working cab of this yet that install correctly

its seems thats the same cab file i was trying. it installs to 99% then sits there forever. until i re-boot the phone.

can't get it on my omnia directly b/c of flashed rom and beta opera.

used test omnia at work to d/l the cab, used my mem card to xfr from one to the other.

installed to My Storage.

works fine and is pretty amazing.

Hangs at 99% for me as well, tried installing it to My Device and My Storage, I have to pull the battery to reset.

They are still charging the same amout...aren't they? I thought I read somewhere they lowered the charge, but can't find it now.

they stopped supporting the omnia when it came to apps....Grrr :D

when i got my phone in Dec. (my new every two) and it was free

the phone came with the app store on it and three games

since i flashed the phone with one of the awesome files here

i can no longer install the app store or the games online at verizons

online app site.everything i click on says the app is not for your phone....bummer

but i have installed vz navi 4 and visual voice mail thru cabs

so im hoping someone here will cook it in (doubtful :D )

The support is still there, but only for official roms.

There is no official app store for the Omnia 1. If you are thinking of Handango, that's not VZW. If you are thinking of start.vzw.com, it's not really an "app store."

When you flash, you can't get the official cabs except by transferring them from one with an official rom.

They are not tested to work on cooked roms.

Lastly, VZ Navigator does not come with ANY plan for smartphones. The only option is a $9.99 add on. If you had a Premium Plan with a dumbphone before, then you no longer have it. If you still have the Premium Plan by some weird error, VZ Navigator's cost will not be covered - ie. if you get it to work, it will tell you to call to subscribe.

Check your plan, you may be paying too much.

Not the handango store

it was the app button on the omnia that came pre installed on the handset and i imagine the cooked rom is why it wont go back on

the apps i AM talking about are thru the verizon website media store. app's that were on the phone

originally are now not available for the omnia i910.Such as NBA 2009 ,do not disturb and others that

worked on the i910 when i got it are now considered not available for the handset.(Hence the no longer supporting the handset model statement)

The plan i signed up for did include the navigator. and the navigator 4.1 still works on the handset even with a cooked rom without any calling to subscribe

Hey! Alright! Glad you got it working. I was running this by people at work trying to think of what it might be, but we couldn't come up with anything. I just flashed to Lioryte 28230 and it installed and is working fine again.

Anybody had any luck with this running other ROM's? I'm running BW's Black, and still can't get it to install.
