Guest xangma Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 (edited) Hey, just got one this morning for use with my pulse. My 15 min usage has proved well so far. It came with NO BATTERY CHARGE. So don't expect to be using it on the way home. Came well protected in a bigger box than needed and was about £35 on amazon. Paired up easily once I charged for 15 minutes. Using with Spotify right now. Started using it with the small headphones from the SE W850i phone. Terrible headphones. Now using with some Sony ones that came with a £60 mp3 player they have. PROS: Good sound. Hardly skips at all. As much as Spotify does anyway. Will test it out when not sitting stationary later. Obviously should work as a bluetooth headset, yet I haven't tried it. CONS: Controls: Only has a pause button, which is used to pause, control volume and skip track forward. How? -Press for pause. -Hold and the volume will scroll down then up again. -Double press for skip. Will update after more usage later. Edited February 12, 2010 by xangma
Guest Dr Who Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 What type of charger does it take? I am looking for something that will charge from micro-usb so I don't have to carry any more chargers/wires when I travel.

It comes with a mains charger that has half if the normal sony ericcson connector on it (the power half) and so far, it seems it only charges with that. I've tried plugging it into the power half of a normal USB SE phone cable and it doesn't charge.

I can charge mine with any of the sony chargers I've got lying around... I've even charged it via a proporta external batterypack, miniusb cable and Sony Adaptor.

I've just upgraded from the DS200 to the DS205 (after finding out the DS200s aren't coffee proof). So thought I'd give a bit of comaparison PROS: Sound is as good as the DS205.. now has better controls for changing volume and skipping tracks better microphone position longer battery life CONS: Made of Plastic. The DS200 is metal. Bit More expensive Bit longer Clip not as firm... so tends to slde down a bit. If it wasn't for the coffee related incident.. and a 50% discount on the DS205 I'd have still been happy with the 200s and would have bought them again.
